Obituaries: Sarah Singletary, Sabine Parish, Sabine Index, Many, LA, Sep21, 1978 Mrs. Sarah Singletary, 99, of Florien, died at her home in the Plainviewcommunity on Sunday, Sept. 17, at 9:30 a.m., following a short illness. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Masters of Florien; onebrother, Jim Gibson of Natchitoches; 9 grandchildren; 26 greatgrandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; two great-great-greatgrandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Plainview Baptist Church on Monday,Sept. 18, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Marvin Brown, the Rev. Glen Flenniken,and the Rev. Jerry Masters officiating. Burial was in the Mt. CarmelCemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
