Cox, 38, were held at 10 p.m.,Wednesday, March 6, at the Many Church of the Nazarene. Officiating atthe service was his father-in-law, the Rev. Lowell Bell of Nancy,Kentucky, the Rev. Larry Norman, pastor of the First United MethodistChurch of Many, the Rev. Mack Brister, pastor of the First Baptist Churchof Florien; and the Rev. C. M. Huff, pastor of the Many Nazarene Church.Interment followed in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of WarrenMeadows Funeral Home. Dr. Cox died at Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport, Sunday,March 3, following a two month illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rebecca Bell Cox of Many; his parents,Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Cox of Many; one brother and sister-in-law, Tommy Joeand Shirley Cox of Florien; one sister, Kimberly Ann Cox of Monroe; and anephew, Joey Lance Cox of Natchitoches. Pallbearers included Robby Lang, Bo Chevallier, Ronnie Lewing, Dr. RoyLee, Dr. Sien Oey, Dr. V. M. John, Dr. Donald Doussan, and Kenny LaBorde
