Newman of Indianapolis, Indiana; Mrs. Bessie Vercher ofNatchitoches, LA, and Sheldon Dowden of New Orleans. Age 43 years andfour months. A native of Natchitoches, LA, and a resident of New Orleans for the past 14 years. Funeral took place from the Metairie Funeral Home of L. G. Muhleisen &Son, 2929 Metairie Road, this Monday, February 13, 1956, at 1 o'clock p.m., followed by Rose Croix services at the Grand Consistory at 1:45 p.m. Interment Masonic cemetery. QUITMAN LODGE NO. 76, F. AND A. M. -- Officers and members of QuitmanLodge No. 76, F. and A. M., are requested to meet on the seventh floor ofthe Masonic Temple building on Monday, February 13, 1956, at 12 o'clocknoon, to pay our last sad respects to our late brother, HUGH HARLEYDOWDEN.
