Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys L. Lester, 74, of Many, were held in theFort Jesup Baptist Church, Sunday, March 4, at 2 p.m. Brother ArthurHaymon officiated. Burial was in the Fort Jesup Cemetery, under thedirection of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lester died Friday, March 2, 1984, at 12:15 p.m., in Shreveport,following an extended illness.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lurline Bonds, and Mrs. GloriaMcComic, both of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Griffith, Burkville, Texas,and Mrs. Christine Moss, Many; nine grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren.
