CENSUS: 1850, Boyle Co.,KY. Thomas' age is 72 yrs. old and Jane as 63.
According to Irene Estes, CMS 1163, she believe must have died about two weeks prior to the above court record. She thinks he came to Boyle Co. (actually is was still Mercer Co., KY until 1842) before 1831. She has a copy of Adair Co., KY indenture on 5 July 1831 between Thomas M. and his wife, Jane of Mercer Co., KY and Wm. Epperson of Adair Co., Ky. (Epperson was a brother-in-law of Thomas). She has been unable to find a grave site of Thomas, but believes it is in Boyle Co. The area he settled in is what we call knob land and later I find reference to his son and grandson as saw mill operators. Of course the knobs still have a lot of trees on them.
